Signing Ceremony of CIRD-GTZ Cross-Regional Cooperation Agreement was Held in Beijing

On 22 March 2010, CIRD and German Technical Cooperation (GTZ) hold a signing ceremony on establishing a cross-regional project entitled ¡®Policy Dialogue on Economic Development Models and Innovations among Policy-Makers and Researchers from China, Germany and Brazil¡®. President of CIRD Chi Fulin and Chairman of the Managing Directors of GTZ Bernd Eisenblätter signed the agreement.
Within the framework of ¡°Agreement on a Strategic and Privileged Partnership¡± between the China Institute for Reform and Development (CIRD) and the Deutsche Gesellschaft f¨¹r Technische Zusammenarbeit (GTZ) GmbH of December 11, 2005, the agreement was reached through further discussion. At the early stage, the key of the project is to support the policy researchers and policy makers of China, Germany and Brazil etc. to study and discuss some topics on important development policy in the peroid of post crisis. Director of East Asia and India department of GTZ Immanuel Gebhardt, Country Director of GTZ in China Astrid Skala-Kuhmann, Deputy Country Director of GTZ in China J¨¹rgen Steiger and Vice president of CIRD Miao Shubin etc. also attended the ceremony.
