Seminar on Private Sector Development Kicks Off in Beijing

  On June 19, a seminar with the theme of ¡°Encouraging and Guiding the Healthy Development of Private Investment----Transformation of Development Models and Development of Private Sector¡± kicks off in Beijing. The seminar is jointly organized by China Association of Small and Medium Enterprises (CASME) and China Institute for Reform and Development (CIRD). CASME chairman Li Zibing chairs the seminar. CIRD board chairman Gao Shangquan, China Society of Economic Reform chairman Song Xiaowu, CIRD president Chi Fulin, as well as officials and scholars from National Development Reform Commission, Ministry of Finance, Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, State Administration for Industry and Commerce, People¡¯s Bank of China, Policy Research Office of CPC Central Committee and All-China Federation of Industry & Commerce attend the seminar. Combined with implementation of the newly released ¡°Several Opinions of the State Council on Encouraging and Guiding the Healthy Development of Private Investment¡±, participants have in-depth discussion on transformation of development models and development of private sector.
