On 20 December 2011, Deputy Head of EU Delegation to ROK Mr. Uwe Wissenbach visited CIRD. Dr. Miao Shubin, vice president of CIRD, held a meeting with Mr. Uwe Wissenbach. After watching the introduction movie of CIRD, Dr. Miao gave an introduction of the mission, tasks and research outputs and outcome of CIRD. Mr. Wissenbach made a couple of suggestion for CIRD’s future development and introduced the general situation of EU’s external cooperation on research projects.
Ms. Tang Bing, project manager of GIZ, Mr. Wei Wenfeng, executive deputy director of Center for Emerging Economies, and Ms. He Dongni, deputy director of Center for Emerging Economies also attended the meeting.
