CIRD and EU-China Friendship Group of the European Parliament jointly hold seminar on China-EU FTA: Trends and Actions

On June 15, CIRD, with EU-China Friendship Group of the European Parliament and EU-China Friendship Association of the European Parliament, jointly held the seminar on China-EU FTA: Trends and Actions in Brussels.  

 

Vice President of China Public Diplomacy Association Lyv Fengding, CIRD President Chi Fulin, Research Fellow of Chinese Academy of International Trade and Economic Cooperation Chen Wenjing, Chairman of EU-China Friendship Group of the European Parliament Nirj Deva, Chairman of EU-China Friendship Association of the European Parliament Derek Vaughan and European Parliament Members Naria Spyraki and Hans Olaf Henkel exchanged their views on the trends of China-EU economic and trade cooperation and China-EU FTA.  

 

CIRD Vice President He Dongni introduced CIRD’s research report China-EU FTA—A decisive option for deepening China-EU cooperation by 2020 on the seminar. CIRD Vice President Yang Rui, Director of Center for Economic Study of CIRD Kuang Xianming, Associate Research Fellow of Center for International Economics of CIRD Wei Wenfeng, Secretary-General of EU-China Friendship Group of the European Parliament Gailin, Research Director of China Public Diplomacy Association Yao Yao, and Research Fellow of China Public Diplomacy Association Yu Gang also attended the seminar. 

 

After the seminar, CIRD President Chi Fulin and Chairman of EU-China Friendship Group of the European Parliament Nirj Deva had in-depth exchanges on future cooperation between the two sides.
